Campbell Folk School, close to the Smoky Mountains, the Appalachian Trail, whitewater rafting, mountain lakes, and trout streams.  They are perfect for family vacations, persons attending Folk School classes, special getaways, honeymoons, and anniversaries.

Come to Brendle Branch Cabins for peace and quiet, to escape the cities and towns whose original natural beauty was covered over by development years ago. Come to view the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, bathe in the intense hue of the "Carolina blue" sky, listen to the quiet that is broken only by an occasional songbird, and inhale a breath of air so fresh that it can be felt deep in your lungs. Come to enjoy the native hardwood and pine forest.

Arriving with the TIME to sit, think, observe, and be part of nature is all the activity some want. Maybe a book or puzzle or board game will take you back to a simpler time. These are the things that cause your inner clock to slow down. You get to experience "being" instead of "doing" and it puts things right in the world once again. There are also many Area Activities to enjoy.

There are only two cabins on 45 heavily wooded acres providing solitude and privacy.   Each cabin is secluded with its own private road.  Mountain laurel, dogwoods, wild azaleas, wild violets, lady slippers, and trillium are some of the fantastic trees and flowers that take their turn blooming by the cabins.  Each cabin has central heat and air, a full bath and a full kitchen that includes a microwave, coffeemaker, blender, toaster, and all eating and cooking utensils.  Bed linens and towels are provided.  Each cabin has a TV/VCR/satellite system and a washer and dryer.  The cabins have picnic tables outside and each has a fire pit for campfires.   Local phone calls are free. White Pine Cabin has WiFi Internet.
